Love is that sublime thing
The light that creates the prism
Casting rainbows on ethereal landscapes
There is no darkness here
Just my hand in yours
My heart with yours
Sparrows gliding through air
Dolphins gliding through water
They know nothing of air or water
All they know is
The divine feeling of being held
Wrapped in a sacred embrace
Sustained by esoteric elemental magic
And something else
A cosmic compulsion
Breathing life into being
Into planets
Stars
Galaxies
Flowers
Trees
Oceans
Wind
Earth
You and me
Together
Here and now
Warm sunlight
Pouring down on us from space
A silent intelligence abides
Beneath all this joyous creating and graceful subsiding
Behind all that is
All that is to be
And all that is to be no more
Something eternal
Undeniable
